A Greek Tragedy

In a public press conference a Greek opposition party leader called Greece Prime Minister George Papandreou a “liar” and urged all parties and all members of parliament to vote no in  

a confidence vote on the Papandreou government scheduled for Friday.  In an earlier press conference Papandreou had intimated that he had reached an agreement with the opposition party which prompted the vitriolic response by that party’s leader. You can’t make this stuff up.  It’s like watching a bad “B” movie.

 

Such a beautiful country, such an ugly situation.
