It's The Economy Stupid: CPI

CPI Month on Month was ‘unched’.  CPI Ex Food & Energy Month on Month was up 0.2%, as energy prices dropped. 

 

CPI Year on Year was ‘unched’ at 2.3%.  CPI Ex Food & Energy Year on Year was 2.3%.  So, CPI is 2.3%.  Inflation ain’t a problem yet.

 

Retail Sales, no matter how you cut it, was up 0.1%.

 

No biggie.
