Okay, Jobs, in order for the economy to improve, it has to create new jobs, employ more people, lay off less people. The job cuts and jobless numbers are still less than 400K/3500K, so the numbers this time were good, although a little higher than the previous numbers, and the previous period numbers were not revised seriously. So all in all, it’s all good.
Economic Event | Period | Economic Survey | Actual Reported | Original Prior | Revised Prior |
Challenger Job Cuts YoY | FEB | - | 2.0% | 38.9% | - |
RBC Consumer Outlook Index | MAR | - | 47.5 | 45.1 | - |
Initial Jobless Claims | MAR3 | 352K | 362K | 351K | 354K |
Continuing Claims | FEB 25 | 3400K | 3416K | 3402K | 3402K |
