It's The Economy Stupid: Life Gets A Little Better Because College Football Starts Tonight

Life gets a little better today because college football starts tonight.  The South Carolina Gamecocks, led by Jadeveon Clowney (#7 in your program, #1 in the hearts of SC fans and pro scouts everywhere), the pride of ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA, plays one of those border wars football games against North Carolina.  Nice!  Geaux Cocks!

Oh yeah, Jobless Claims were released today.  So was GDP.  You know, some of that economic stuff.

These are good numbers.  Jobless Claims are now well below 350K at 331K, and Continuing Claims are now below 3000K at 2989K.  These are good numbers.    GDP is up to 2.5%.  Personal Consumption is better than expected.

Not bad, sometimes you just got to look at the glass as being half full.
