EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT! ECONOMISTS PREDICTIONS RIGHT!!!
Yes, you read correctly. Economists consensus was actually right on the money for CPI. And what CPI is telling us is that there is no inflationary pressure currently in the economy. CPI Month over Month for January was 0.1%, economists consensus was 0.1%. CPI Ex Food and Energy Month over Month for January was 0.1% and economists consensus was 0.1%. CPI Year over Year for January was 1.6% and economists consensus was 1.6%. CPI Ex Food and Energy Year over Year for January was 1.6% and economists consensus was 1.6%.
