Not much to say.  House & Senate & White House still don’t agree, still aren’t negotiating.  Oh, and China and Japan warned US on the shutdown.   Imagine that, our creditors expect to be paid back on their investments!  The good news is that the market is not off as much as it was.  The Dow closed below 15000 at 14936, the S&P 500 closed at 1678.  The market cut its losses in about half from where it was earlier in the day.  Of course that’s little consolation.  A loss is a loss.  It’s hard to spend a “moral victory”.
